Happy Fathers Day

Here are just a few of the fathers that I know and love! My husband Brian who is an amazing father I can't thank him enough for all the help that he gives me, and all the love that he gives our children. Then my uncle Daniel who is not only a great father, but one of the best most genuine people I know, Then there is Brians Father Brian Senior, I never got to meet him, but I feel his love and know that he is doing all that he can do for us on the other side. After that is my grandpa Krauss my mothers father who I love and look up to. Also my father who helped bring me into this world, and supported me for so long. There is one other person who I would like to mention, and that is Paul Painter sadly I don't have a picture of him, but he is a father to me. I love him with all my heart and will forever be grateful for the love he has shown me and my family. Happy Fathers Day to these amazing fathers and many more!

Blowpops, Binkis, and Slides

A couple of weeks ago Brians brother Tanner came to visit, it was past Jack and Hazels bedtime, but we wanted to keep them up so they could say hi to uncle Tanner, so we took them to the park across the street from our house, and they had an absolute blast until Hazel skinned her nose on the slide OUCH! She was fine just a little ruffed up and was able to be comforted by her uncle. I want to comment about the picture of Jack and Tanner, but I am at a loss for words I suppose I will let the Picture speak for itself.

My Awesome Kids

This is some great footage of how awesome my kids are. Hazel has a little obsession with rubbing odd things on her face like; vaseline, butter, baby powder, lotion, and apparently hot dog grease. Then we have Jack who is just as corky, totally insane and tons of fun. I love them so much, they bring absolute joy into my life!

Zoo Fun

We went to the Zoo and had so much fun! Hazel loved the elephants and the petting zoo. Jack loved the peacocks, and to top it all off we had great company!!

Jack and Hazel are absolutely obsessed with hats, which in our family are called Popitos (long story). Anyway we were able to capture a little part of this obsession, when they turned their Pintos and Cheese into these fantastic accessories!

Catch Up

It's been a really long time since I've posted so here are a few pictures from the last month or so. Please take notice of the cross dressing and just know that it's not because we are trying to be radical or accepting of all things, it's simply because Jack is obsessed with hats regardless of the color or style, and in the case of the bib Jack drools a lot and we ran out of boy bibs. I do what I can!

So much has happened recently the not so good thing is that Hazel broke one of her front teeth in half, but luckily she is okay, however now she looks a little like she belongs in a trailer, and it really wasn't that bad until I accidentally cut her bangs way way too short! So sad, but I still think she is one of the cutest kids ever! I'll try to get a picture that really captures the true essence of the hillbilly!

On a better note my kids started nursery two weeks ago and seem to be doing really well! I can go to church and actually pay attention Hooray!!!

Temple Lights

On Saturday we went with some of our closest friends to see the temple lights. It was a lot of fun Jack and Hazel were in heaven! Afterward our family went to Pete's Fish and Chips Yum! and Gross!

Cantina Laredo

A lot has changed in the past month. I'm really not so great at updating Sorry! First off a I got a job a Cantina Laredo waiting tables. I've never done it before, but it works out really well for mine and Brians schedules. I watch the kids during the day and work at night, then we switch. So far I like my job quite a bit. The hours fly by and it's nice to have things switch up every time I work. I would like to invite all to come visit me and enjoy our food it is soooo good!!! Unless you don't tip well then I would still like to see you, but not wait on you because chances are if you leave me a crappy tip I will refer to you as rat bastard (only in my own mind). It's really interesting to see how generous and how stingy different people are. Anyway here are some pictures of my Kids down at the restaurant we went there the day before Thanksgiving when Anna and Tanner came into town.

Halloween

Halloween was great this year! We got our kids all dressed up and went trick or treating for the first time. Of course all the candy is for us, and all the parents handing it out new it, but I figure it's our right as parents to enjoy their first halloween candy, because you know that will never happen again!

Also a couple of days before Halloween we went to a Trunk-or-Treat With our good friends Mark and Kristin and we saw our friends Mark and Adria there too it was so much fun. Friends are the best!

Grandma Zemp

During our California trip we were able to see grandma Zemp for the first time since the twins were born. Aunt Lynnette drove grandma a couple hours so that we would be able to see her. Thank you Lynnette! We had a really nice time. It's so good to be able to get to know the Zemp side of Brians family a little bit better.

Trip to California

Last weekend our family took a trip to California to see Brians family. We stayed at his sisters house and had a really fun time. It got a little crazy at times just because there were 3 babies under the age of two, which equals A Lot of biting. You would think our kids were Cannibals!

While we were there Grandma Anna wanted to get some pictures of all 5 of her grandkids for her Christmas Card, which was a bit of a challenge. This picture probably best sums up the experience. We actually did manage to get some decent ones, but I don't know which one Anna will want to use, so I won't post any.

So Grandma Anna came into town and we had so much fun! Jack and Hazel are usually really scared of her because she's blond, and she has a deep voice, and is really tall, she might be part man. Anyway this time they weren't they warmed up to her really quickly, which was nice for me because I was able to have a free babysitter hurray!! She is a really fun person and we enjoyed seeing her.

Wow! It's been over a month since I've updated my blog. Don't worry I'm not dead. I know you all were gravely concerned. Anyway a lot has happened this past month, I just haven't had enough time to space out and write about it, and now that I have found a spare minute my mind is totally blank AHHHH!

Okay, as I sit here and wrack my brain for any interesting morsel of thought, a couple of things come to mind. First off my radical cousin Jessica is home from her mission and will be in Arizona next week. Hurray!! she's pretty much the coolest. Just as a side note, she served a mission out of pure love of the gospel, not because she couldn't get married. She's super cute.

I don't know about anyone else, but for me whenever I hear that a girl has gone on a mission I sometimes wonder what her motivation was. I realize that it doesn't matter what it was that motivated her, whether it's her sweet spirit and desire to serve , or just a desire to serve. it's just the fact that she did it, and that is awesome.

Another cool thing that happened this month is my daughter Hazel started crawling like a normal baby instead of the army crawl she has been sporting for the past six months. Jack is still acting like he is in the trenches, but I'm really not concerned at all my doctor says it's totally normal. They are even walking along surfaces. It's really neat to see them progress.

Also on July thirteenth they turned one year old. My aunt is sending me the pics I will post them when I get them. But for now here are a couple that I thought were fun from this past month.

Unlike Jack, my daughter Hazel probably has no idea what the word no means. She's such a sweetheart. Of course she has her own issues like waking up at 5:00 a.m., and wanting to eat because she refused her last feeding the day before, but all in all she's pretty sweet.

Hurray! Jack is really starting to learn what NO means that is so exciting for me, because he tends to be very active and want everything and anything he can't or shouldn't have. I know he looks like an angel normally, but just look to the left and you will see that we were able to catch a picture of the little demon in him.

Hello Everybody,

Here it is the Zemp family blog. I am little surprised I made one. I really thought it would be a huge waste of time, but then I thought what the heck it seems sort of fun.

Anyway I don't have much to say right now I'm pretty exhausted I just put my kids down for the night and am finally able to breathe. Thank heavens for bedtime!!! I really do love my kids and there company, but by the end of the day when I've changed what feels like a hundred diapers while the baby I'm changing is trying to escape from me and put his hands all over his pooped on balls and the other one is hanging half way out the cat door, listened to my sons foghorn scream, chased babies and simultaneously untangled them from the computer and cable cords about a million times, extracted everything from carpet fuzz to cat food out of there mouths, and fed them for the thousandth time. I'm begging for a lobotomy. I'm just spent!!!

I know I probably sound like a grouch, that's because I am one. Not always just right now, oh and for about the last month or so. Hopefully that will end soon. I'm sure Brian is hoping for the same thing. Unfortunately I have nothing to blame it on like being postpartum or hormonal. Thanks to Dr. Tuggle that is all evened out. Flip! it sucks to have to be accountable!!!
